Absa appointed allen international to develop a conceptual test-lab branch at Clearwater Mall, just outside Johannesburg. Absa will use this branch to develop innovative products and processes prior to rolling these out across its entire branch network. By using this model Absa seeks to create a more interactive environment for customers whilst promoting and testing new ways of banking.
By creating different customer journeys for Exclusive Banking, retail consultation and high traffic transactional banking, allen international have been able to deliver a focussed and effi cient solution for Absa at Clearwater. This allows the main banking space to be used for Absa customer initiatives, including group purchase promotions, community engagement as well as showcasing the bank’s sponsorship activities.
