Absa will use this branch to develop innovative products and processes prior to rolling these out across its entire branch network. By using this model Absa seeks to create a more interactive environment for customers whilst promoting and testing new ways of banking.

Raiffeisen Bank

Banks

Rethinking the nature of client - customer relations, the design represents a prototype for a bank where money is not always in the foreground. Cast instead as an urban lounge, the atmosphere is open and light with hints of a high-end boutique.

Raiffeisen’s flagship branch on Zurich’s Kreuzplatz dissolves traditional barriers between customer and employee, creating a new type of “open bank,” a space of encounter. Advanced technologies make banking infrastructure largely invisible; employees access terminals concealed in furniture elements, while a robotic retrieval system grants 24 hour access to safety deposit boxes. This shifts the bank’s role into becoming a light-filled, inviting environment – an open lounge where customers can learn about new products and services.

Bradesco Next

Banks

What would a bank of the future look like if the future was right now? With this question in mind, Bradesco bank partnered YDreams, a global specialist in natural user interfaces, to create an innovative environment that would close the gap between reality and the online world.

“Bradesco Next is one of YDreams’ flagship projects. It represents our purpose as a company: transforming the way people interact with the world around them, which is becoming ever more digital. This project brings together innovative technology, futuristic user experience and interior design, without losing sight of what is most import: the client experience”, explains Filipe Caldas de Vasconcellos, YDream's Global Managing Director.

Barwa Bank

Banks

The Barwa Bank branch design concept has been one of the most challenging projects that Crea International has ever developed: designing the most progressive Islamic bank of the future, showcasing either modernity and coolness strongly rooted with the tradition of the country was the brief assigned by the client.

The original inspiration came both from the landscape of Qatar and its nature: the dunes inspired the smooth shapes mixed with clear cut geometrical lines, the flowers of the desert with their delicate colours were source of inspiration for being symbol of energy and growth, the mother pearl and the finely carved architectural walls became the main components to translate the precious approach we wanted Barwa Bank to deliver.

ING DIRECT ITALIA

Banks

The branches of ING Direct are much more similar to a concept store as opposed to the classic bank branch, innovative not only for its visual asset, but also for the functionality and experience it provides their clients.

The dynamic yet delicate internal architecture is characterised by clear surfaces and basic linear furniture, the banking service areas denominated by orange and blue colours, placed against a neutral oak base, used also for the woodwork details and parquet floor, that wrap around the interior shell of the store, creating the ‘pumpkin’ effect, the fulcrum of visual communication. With this little artifice the pumpkin logo for the brand is transformed into an iconic and figurative place, guarding the imaginative and dream-like values that only a young business, flexible and innovative, could possess.

CASTAGNETO CARDUCCI

Banks

The bank is located at the ground floor of a building of the 60s which is placed in the historic centre of the town, near the Synagogue. There was a time when this place lodged a little “alternative” theater, with a real stage and some backstage rooms still remaining in traces. The pre-existent has been the inspiration for the project of this new bank branch.

The interior space, quite articulated in the elevation, is divided in several operation areas: in the most open one, at 0,00 quota, there are the cash desks and the directional offices, the caveaux and the services. Here are also located three colorful offices, more reserved, and with those colours the entire space, which is white and grey, is contaminated with a chromatic explosion that also invades closest handles springing happiness everywhere.
